Head of Tax

Following a spell in retail banking, Chris spent a good chunk of his career working in industry as an Operations Manager for a small chain of pubs and restaurants. He then joined Confluence Tax, a boutique tax advisory firm specialising in Biotech companies, in December 2018.

Confluence Tax became part of Frazier & Deeter, a US/UK audit and advisory firm in November 2021, and Chris remained with F&D working in their corporate tax team, as well as advising on EIS and other transaction work.

Eventually, an opportunity arose with Archangel, and Chris grabbed it with both hands, joining us in March 2025 as Head of Taxation.

Chris is studying on the ACA/CTA joint programme, and in his spare time enjoys reading and travelling, sometimes at the same time.
